  5 February 2012. We visit Monte Casino to go see Phantom of the Opera. Monte Casino has some really nice photo opportunities and I had a blast. Everything is indoors and even the sky is painted on the ceiling to make it look like an Italian village. All photos were with the magical Canon SX40 HS, I just love this camera!

 Ons besoek Monte Casino om na Phantom of the Opera te gaan kyk. Monte Casino bied uitstekende foto geleenthede, alles is binnenshuis, selfs die wolke is op die plafon geskilder om die illusie te skep dat jy in 'n Italiaanse dorpie is.   23 January 2012 - We decided to visit  the Walter Sisulu National Botanical gardens to see if we could get some nice photos. The setting is beautiful with lawns and trees and even a waterfall and bird hide. All photos taken with my Canon Powershot SX40 HS which is impressing me more with every outing. There is also a restaurant and picic spots.
Ons het besluit om besoek te gaan aflê by die Walter Sisulu Nasionale Botaniese Tuine. Dis regtig baie mooi daar met bome en grasperke en selfs 'n waterval en voël skuiling. My Canon Powershot SX40 beindruk my meer en meer by die dag. Daar is ook 'n restaurant en piekniekplek.

20 January 2012 - After the recent heavy rains in Kruger Park and surrounding areas, we decided to take a quick day drive to the area to check out any flood damage and also visit some of the beautiful waterfalls in the Graskop and Sabie area. Because of time constraints we entered the Park at Kruger gate and visited the main camp, Skukuza.- Na die onlangse swaar reëns in die Kruger Park het ons besluit om net vir die dag soontoe te ry en te kyk watse vloedskade daar was en ook om na die watervalle in die sabie/Graskop omgewing te gaan kyk.
